I was sitting here thinking 'what is something cool I could upload which many Cherie fans may not have seen...?? And then BAM! there it was staring at me in on the wall !! This original A3 advert is from the October 2nd edition of England New Musical Express !! Pretty cool huh !!

Thanks for posting that ad for the Runaways 1976 tour. I've just gone into major nostalagia mode. I could just make out that the paper was dated October 2nd - I saw the band on that tour on the 23rd of September in Glasgow. I'm wondering who supported on that tour. On the night I saw the band the planned support band didn't show (I think it was meant to be Graham Parker and the Rumour) so instead the organisers recruited a local pub band (who I think were called Frenzy) who only did covers and were given a helluva time by the audience. I vividly remember the music papers from that time, and their enthusiasm for the Runaways. There was one reporter from Sounds who was particularly keen and seemed to write every review and article about the band, but I can't remember his name. Any idea?
